How We Do It
At Terra-SAN, we utilize a proprietary UNIX-based system to read, import, load and back up your CDs and DVDs, putting them directly onto any digital media server.

Robotically controlled mega-changers allow us to output data at speeds four times faster than the market average. That means that, if required, we can turn around a 600 disk collection in just 24 hours.

Our UNIX-based facility sets the benchmark for reliability in digital media services by being both platform and manufacturer independent, while at the same time being compatible with all manufacturers. Our custom-built interface is capable of utilizing all standard ID3 tagging sources.

During the loading process, we also make a back up of your collection and maintain it for two weeks to ensure that your installation went smoothly. At the end of the two week period, if you prefer, you can purchase the back up and store it in our safe, redundant facility.
